Rams Value Doubled Since Move to Los Angeles :::: #Sports

Although moving to Los Angeles hasn't helped the Rams on the field, it has been good for owner Stan Kroenke... because the team's valued has jumped.

According to Forbes, the Rams are now the sixth-most valuable NFL franchise at $2.9 billion, that double its value from last year, when the team was valued at $1.45 billion and the 28th-most valuable in the league.

However, for Kroenke, his relocation fee will come out to $65 million a year to be paid from 2020 to 2029.

The Oakland Raiders and the San Diego Chargers didn't move to L.A., but are also more valuable. Their values rose 47 and 36 percent, respectively, as talk of the Raiders moving to Las Vegas continues. The Chargers, on the other hand, could get a new stadium in San Diego or become a co-tenant with the Rams in their new stadium, which is scheduled to open for the 2019 season.

Overall, NFL franchise values are up 19 percent compared to last season by an average of $2.34 billion.
