Minnesota Vikings Get Sam Bradford in Trade With Eagles :::: #Sports

After losing starter Teddy Bridgewater for the entire 2016 season, the Minnesota Vikings have made a trade with the Philadelphia Eagles for quarterback Sam Bradford, reports ESPN.

The trade will send Bradford to Minnesota, in exchange for the Vikings' first-round draft pick in 2017, as well as a conditional fourth-rounder in 2018.

Bradford re-signed with the Eagles in March on a two-year, $35 million deal, with $22 million fully guaranteed. But, last we heard, he was requesting a trade after the Eagles traded for the No. 2 pick in the NFL Draft, and picked up North Dakota QB Carson Wentz.

The Vikings currently have four quarterbacks on their roster. But, undrafted rookie Joel Stave suffered an injury in the preseason, Brad Sorensen is expected to be waived, and Bridgewater is out, leaving journeyman quarterback Shaun Hill, who took over as the starter.

Bradford is now expected to start for the Vikings this season.
