Colin Kaepernick’s Jersey Sales Have Spiked Since National Anthem Protest :::: #Sports

Controversy sells. Just ask Colin Kaepernick.

Since making headlines for refusing to stand during the National Anthem at games, her jersey sales have spiked.

The Kaepernick jersey was ranked No. 20 before his protest began on the 49ers webstore, but since then, his jersey has become the No. 1 seller, ahead of 49ers legends like Joe Montana, Jerry Rice, Steve Young, and Ronnie Lott.

Just on Friday (Sept. 2), one Twitter user pointed out that he was No. 3.

If you are supporting Kaepernick's choice to sit down during the National Anthem, over his views on the country's treatment of racial minorities, you can grab his jersey online here.
