Tim Tebow is Now Chasing Pro-Baseball Career :::: #Sports

Although he held onto hopes of getting another shot in the NFL, it appears Tim Tebow is moving on.

His agents revealed his week that the 28-year-old is actively pursuing a career in professional baseball, with plans to hold a workout for Major League Baseball teams later this month, reports ESPN.

Tebow has been training in Arizona and Los Angeles over the past year, to hone his hitting and fielding skills. He has not played baseball on a full-time basis since 2005.

In Florida, he was an All-State baseball player, hitting .494 as a junior and helping Nease High School reach the final four of the Florida state playoffs.

Tebow turns 29 this weekend, and recently notified his current employer, ESPN, of his baseball career plans, but he will continue to fulfill his broadcast obligations to the network.

All 30 MLB teams will be invited to Tebow's workout at the end of the month, an event he has been preparing for over the past year.
