Nick Foles Signs to Kansas City Chiefs :::: #Sports

After just one season with the Los Angeles Rams, quarterback Nick Foles has signed a deal with the Kansas City Chiefs.

According to ESPN, the deal is one year with a team option for a second season. He will get $1.75 million this year, plus incentives, while the team option for the second season ranges between $6.75 million and $16 million, based on his 2016 performance, as well as incentives.

Alex Smith is the Chiefs starter, so Foles will serve as the back up.

He also reunites with Chiefs coach Andy Reid, who was head coach of the Philadelphia Eagles, who picked Foles with a third-round draft pick in 2012.

For his career, Foles has gone 19-16 record with 53 touchdown passes and 27 interceptions.

The Rams released him just before training camp, after being unable to find a trade.
