Jordan Brand Unveils New Michigan Wolverines Uniforms :::: #Sports

The iconic Jumpman logo will forever be synonymous basketball, but in recent years, the brand has expanded into the worlds of football, baseball, golf and boxing, among other sports.

In its latest partnership, Jordan Brand teams up with the University of Michigan to supply uniforms for its collegiate football team -- the first college to proudly rep Jumpman.

"Michael Jordan never settled. His career was defined by his competitive drive, unwavering work ethic and a dogged pursuit of winning," says Larry Miller, President of the Jordan Brand. "These same principles have guided the Jordan Brand since its inception, and we see a like-spirit in the University of Michigan. What started with a phone call between Michael and Coach Harbaugh comes to life today in an unprecedented partnership which further diversifies the Jordan Brand’s commitment to football and athletes."

The Michigan jersey is built on the Nike Vapor Untouchable chasse, featuring a minimal-seam design and stretch woven materials. It also include tailored lines that are articulated to move with the body, while laser perforations in the front and back panels to maximize ventilation.

Lastly, Jordan will outfit the team in the Jordan Trainer 1 Low.

Michigan will officially unveil the jerseys on Sept. 3, when they play Hawaii in Ann Arbor.
