Ice Cube Says Talks For New “Friday” Film Have Started :::: #Entertainment

Talk of another Friday film has circulated for several years, and even Ice Cube confirmed reports... but nothing every materialized.
However, Cube recently offered a major update. He tweeted out a piece of art this week, depicting the cast of the original stoner comedy, reminiscent of the historic "Last Supper" painting, along with some info.
"We had a meeting. Can't do Last Friday unless we can do it right. Ball is in New Line Cinema's hands. Bat is in mine," Cube wrote.

"Doing it right" refers to Cube's attempts to bring Chris Tucker back to resprise his role as the hilarious character Smokey.
Cube has released three Friday films, beginning with the first in 1995, which turned a tiny $3 million budget into $30 million at the box office... and more over the years. Two sequels followed, Next Friday in 2000 and Friday After Next in 2002, both seeing Mike Epps replace Tucker.
Stay tuned...
