A Scarface reboot coming?
According to Deadline, director Antoine Fuqua (Training Day) is in talks with Universal to direct a third iteration of Scarface.
Universal made the original in 1932 with director Howard Hawks and star Paul Muni with inspiration from Al Capone, and then again, in 1983 with director Brian De Palma and Al Pacino.
The new reboot would borrow the immigrant rags-to-riches story, but will present it in contemporary Los Angeles.
Further details were unknown at press time.
