The Cool Kids are back. Following a five-year hiatus, member Chuck Inglish took to Twitter this week, announcing that he's reuniting with Sir Michael Rocks to revive the group/duo.
"I called Mikey and realized nothing would feel better than us being the originators again," he wrote. "The Cool Kids are back forreal."
Sir Michael Rocks seems to confirmed the news with a tweet of his own, posting the cover for his upcoming Funds and Access project, and saying it'd be his "final solo project for a while".
The duo released three full-length projects as The Cool Kids, the last one being 2011's When Fish Ride Bicycles. Since then, both have focused on solo endeavors.
Last year, there was talk of The Cool Kids getting back together, but Sir Michael Rocks dismissed the rumors, saying they were "never coming back".
As the saying goes: Never say never.
