Phil Jackson Expects Brandon Jennings to Win Sixth Man Award :::: #NBA

The New York Knicks recently signed guard Brandon Jennings to serve as Derrick Rose's back-up, and lead the second squad off the bench. However, team president Phil Jackson has some big expectations for him next season.
"He said he expects me to be sixth man of the year," Jennings told ESPN this week. "So I'm definitely gonna embrace that role. I don’t see why I can’t be in that conversation, and I’m fine with it. I’m definitely fine with it."
Jennings has signed a one-year, $5 million deal with the Knicks, joining the newly-signed Rose, Courtney Lee and Joakim Noah.

He was selected with the 10th pick in the 2009 NBA Draft by the Milwaukee Bucks, where he played his first four seasons. He suffered a ruptured left Achilles tendon during the 2014-15 season with the Detroit Pistons, before being traded to the Orlando Magic earlier this year... and ultimately becoming a free agent this offseason.
