Netflix's original series Narcos, which follows the rise and fall of the infamous Pablo Escobar, has been a hit for the streaming service. Now, the drug kingpin's family wants their cut.
According to TMZ, Pablo's brother Roberto Escobar, who also serves as the accountant for his empire, has sent a letter to Netflix demanding production for Season 2 be halted, unless they get approval from him.
He claims Season 1 was inaccurate and riddled with blatant lies, and his brother Pablo would not approve of the portrayal.
Roberto is seeking a cut of the profits of the series.
