DJ Drama Finally Explains Involvement in Meek Mill-Drake Beef :::: #Music

Since the Drake-Meek Mill beef took over the Internet last year, there's been a lot of speculation over DJ Drama's involvement in the whole thing.
The DJ finally cleared the air this week, during an interview on Hot 97.
"I'm gonna say this and then we're gonna put it to rest," Drama began, before explaining that Meek Mill got him involved. "My involvement in the situation was that my man thought he was getting dissed," he said, referencing the line on "R.I.C.O." where Drake says "The girl of your dreams to me is probably not a challenge."
Meek addressed this line on Twitter last summer, saying he originally took the line to be a knock at his relationship with Nicki Minaj.

When he said the dream girl shit on Rico I thought he was coming at me lol Then youngbull played me the verse ... http://tmi.me/1f6ZU4

Drama goes on to say that he told Meek that "he's not dissing you... those weren't technically his bars," essentially revealing that Drake didn't write the line. From there, Meek took that info and ran with it.
If you followed the beef, Meek publicly called out Drake for using ghostwriters, and sparked the heavily-discussed feud... that produced Drake's popular diss tracks, "Back to Back" and "Charged Up".
"I had a conversation with my man about something and from there it just blew out of proportion," Drama said.
Despite this info, Drama denied any involvement in leaking the reference track, saying "ask Flex where he got the records from, he didn't get them from me. Go ask Meek where he got the records from, he didn't get them from me."
