After announcing the end of production for the Land Rover Defender in 2013, one man hopes to revive it -- billionaire Jim Ratcliffe.
After just over 2 million models built over 68 years, the company ended production earlier this year.
According to The Times, the chemicals tycoon has held initial talks with Jaguar Land Rover in hopes of bringing it back.
While details are unknown, Ratcliffe wants to ensure that new models meet new emissions rules -- the reason cited by Land Rover for discontinuing the vehicle.
