Detroit Pistons big man Andre Drummond has agreed on a five-year maximum contract with the team, worth an estimated $130 million, reports ESPN.
The deal also includes a player option after the fourth year, sources tell the network.
Although there's an agreement, it cannot become official until July 7, when a league-wide moratorium on signings and trades is lifted.
Drummond became a free agent last October, after he and the team decided against a contract extension... but the Pistons' top priority this offseason was securing Drummond as quickly as possible.
This past season, he was named an All-Star for the first time, and recorded a career-high 16.2 points per game, alongside 14.8 rebounds, 1.6 blocks and 1.5 steals.
