After making his debut as Leslie "Shyne" Johnson in Season 2 of Empire, Xzibit has confirmed that he'll be a recurring character in Season 3 of the hit Fox series.
The rap vet revealed the news on Instagram, writing: "Thankful for the opportunity and excited to 'bring it' with the rest of the stellar cast already in place".
Described as "100 percent wolf and 100 percent gangster", in Empire, Xzibit's character is an industry vet, who has funded his career through criminal activities. He officially made his debut in Season 2's finale, and will be developed through Season 3, which premieres on Sept. 21.
