It's here. XXL's anticipated new Freshman Class for 2016 has been announced.
This year's crop of future hip-hop stars include: Oxnard, CA's Anderson .Paak; Atlanta's 21 Savage; Pompano Beach, FL's Kodak Black; Philadelphia's Lil Uzi Vert; Cheltenham Township, PA's Lil Dicky; Harlem's Dave East; Carol City, FL's Denzel Curry; Brooklyn's Desiigner; Chicago's G Herbo; and the 10th Spot winner, ATL's Lil Yachty.
As always, XXL is planning to roll out an assortment of content surrounding the Freshman Class, such as freestyles, cyphers and interviews.
The Freshman issue of XXL will hit stands on June 28, the same day as the XXL Freshman Show at New York City's PlayStation Theater.
