Troy Ave Dodges Murder Charge, But Still Faces Multiple Charges :::: #Music

It appears Troy Ave has dodged a bullet in the T.I. concert shooting at Irving Plaza last month, and will not be charged with murder.
However, it's only a small victory, because the rapper is facing five other felonies... and could find himself in prison for decades.
According to TMZ, a grand jury has indicted Troy on one count of attempted second degree murder and four counts of criminal possession of a weapon.

During a concert at New York City's Irving Plaza on May 25, gunfire erupted and Troy's bodyguard, Ronald "Banga" McPhatter, was killed. Since the shooting, footage of Troy Ave firing his gun inside the venue has surfaced, but ballistic testing seems to have cleared him of the murder. He also shot himself in the leg in the ruckus.
His attorney, Scott Leemon, tells TMZ: "The video does not show everything nor explain what happened in the VIP room before Troy came running out, as a victim, after he was shot."
Leemon says he will ask the judge to release Troy on bail this week at his next hearing.
