The Discarded Image examines the art of slow motion, via an insight video breaking down its use in classic films and by acclaimed directors such as Martin Scorsese, who uses it to emphasis of his protagonists' thoughts. It's also used during violence, the use of drugs, suspense sequences or to showcase super powers.
