In celebration of Go Skateboarding Day, iconic skate brand Etnies spotlights team rider Ryan Lay's "Skate After School" program.
The program is a non-profit after school program dedicated to providing skateboard instruction to the underprivileged youth of Phoenix, Arizona.
Last week, the Woodward Scholarship Program partnered with "Skate After School" by sending four youth from the program to experience a trip to the world-renowned state of the art skateboard camp, Woodward West in Tehachapi, Calif.
Each kid was chosen based on their academic achievements in the 2015-2016 year, their passion for skateboarding, and for their diverse cultural backgrounds that they bring to "Skate After School".
