One year after announcing their engagement, Iggy Azalea announces her split from NBA player Nick Young on social media.
The rapper released a statement over the weekend, citing trust issues as the cause for their break-up.
"Unfortunately, although I love Nick and I have tried and tried to rebuild my trust in him -- It's become apparent in the last few weeks I am unable to," Iggy posted on Instagram. "I genuinely wish Nick the best. It's never easy to part ways with the person you planned you're entire future with, but futures can be rewritten and as of today mine is a blank page," she added.
Earlier this year, Young was seen in a video (recorded by teammate D'Angelo Russell) talking about cheating on Iggy. Despite how it looked, Iggy gave Nick a pass, and seemed to move on. Apparently, it wasn't as easy as she thought.
Young didn't offer details, but also addressed the split, tweeting out "single."
