Giants Receiver Victor Cruz Practicing Again, Hopes to Be Return :::: #NFL

New York Giants receiver Victor Cruz hasn't played since 2014, but is finally practicing... with hopes of returning for the upcoming season.
According to ESPN, he participated in the Giants' minicamp practice on Tuesday (June 14) for the first time in eight months.
As of last week, the Giants planned to hold Cruz out of practice drills until training camp started in late July. But, he's been consistently dialoging with coaches to clear him.

"I think I was ready, the training staff thought I was ready," Cruz said. "I personally wanted to do something this spring/summer, and I'm happy they somewhat listened to me."
He tore the patellar tendon in his right knee in Week 6 of 2014 and missed the remainder of that season. Though he did practice in training camp last year, he didn't make it out of preseason, before he suffered a left calf injury that sidelined him for all of 2015.
However, there's still some doubt that Cruz will return to the player he was before the injury.
