Donald Glover, aka Childish Gambino, continues his focus on film, landing a role in the upcoming Spider-Man reboot, reports The Hollywood Reporter.
The upcoming Sony reboot of the franchise, titled Spider-Man: Homecoming, stars teen actorTom Holland in the starring role as Peter Parker/Spider-Man. It will focus on the character back in his high-school days.
Glover's character is still unknown, but THR says its "being kept secret".
Others cast members include Michael Keaton as a villain, Marisa Tomei as Aunt May and Zendaya as the female lead. Robert Downey Jr. will also appear as Tony Stark/Iron Man.
Spider-Man: Homecoming is due out in 2017.
