Pokémon GO!, the franchise's new
mobile game, is slated to drop later this year. But, if you can't wait, sign-ups for a "field test" are open to the public.
If you are chosen among those who sign-up, you'll have an opportunity to play the ongoing build of the game on their iOS or Android device before it officially releases. Also, your gameplay and feedback will help Niantic "iterate, polish and make the game launch-ready."
If you are interested, you'll have to keep information about the game confidential... and your gameplay progress will be reset regularly throughout the field test and won't be carried over to the lauch version.
