“The Jungle Book” Opens With Massive $103 Million Debut :::: #Entertainment

Disney's live action adaptation of The Jungle Book took over the weekend box office, opening with a huge $103.6 million debut.
It was made for about $175 million, was received glowing reviews from critics. It ranks as the second biggest April opening ever, behind only Furious 7's $147.2 million debut in 2015. Overseas, The Jungle Book took in an estimated $136.1 million overseas.
Opening in second place was Ice Cube's Barbershop: The Next Cut, earning $20.2 million. It's the fourth film in the comedy series, but failed to match the $24.2 million debut of the previousBarber Shop 2: Back in Business.

The Kevin Costner action thriller Criminal debuted in sixth place with just $5.9 million.
