Raiders Owner Mark Davis to Meet with Las Vegas Billionaire :::: #Sports

With the Chargers still negotiating with the Los Angeles Rams, on whether they will share the same stadium next season, things are still up in the air for the Raiders... who had also applied to move to L.A.
Reports said Oakland Raiders owner Mark Davis is meeting with Las Vegas Sands chairman Sheldon Adelson, who wants to build a $1 billion domed stadium on the UNLV campus.
The Sands Corp. announced this week that it is backing a public-private partnership to build a 65,000-seat, domed stadium on 42 acres of land UNLV purchased, located near the corner of Tropicana Avenue and Koval Lane across from McCarran International Airport.

Davis and Adelson scheduled a meeting for Friday in Las Vegas, though reps for both did not elaborate on the nature of their discussions.
UNLV is looking for a new home for its football program, which has played at 35,500-seat Sam Boyd Stadium since 1971.
As for the Raiders, the team has been denied a move to Los Angeles, alongside the Chargers, for a joint-stadium project in nearby Carson. Now, the team is without a lease for a home stadium for the 2016 season. However, they may have the option to join the Rams in Inglewood should the Chargers decline.
The Raiders are expected to play in Oakland for the 2016 season.
