Ford first unveiled the all-new 2017 Raptor truck at the Detroit Auto Show in 2015. Now, with its release coming, here's an official look at the souped-up F-150.
The new truck boasts a twin-turbo, inter-cooled 3.5 liter EcoBoost engine, exceeding the previous model's 6.2 liter V8, while shedding weight -- 500 pounds lighter to be exact, via a "high-strength, military-grade, aluminum alloy" body.
It also features a boxed steel frame, a 10-speed automatic transmission, and 17-inch BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 tires designed specifically for Raptor.
