Kung Fu Panda 3 kicked its way to the top of the box office this weekend, opening with $41 million.
The original opened to $60.2 million in 2008 and the sequel to $47.7 million in 2011.
Coming in second is The Revenant, starring Leonardo DiCaprio and up for a number of high-profile Oscar nominations. It earned $12.4 million over the weekend, raising its domestic haul to more than $138.1 million to date.
Star Wars: The Force Awakens earns $10.7 million for third, while Ride Along 2closes out the top 5 with $8.3 million.
The weekend's other new films includes Disney's Coast Guard adventure The Finest Hours, which debuted in fourth place with $10.3 million; and Marlon Wayans' comedy, Fifty Shades of Black, which opened in 9th place with just $6.1 million.
