When N.W.A. is finally inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in April, they will be introduced by Compton rap star, Kendrick Lamar.
The iconic rap group -- consisting of Ice Cube, Dr. Dre, Eazy-E, MC Ren and DJ Yella -- had been nominated three times in the past, but subbed every time.
Now, with their induction into the class of 2016, N.W.A. becomes the fifth hip-hop act added to the Hall of Fame, joining Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five, the Beastie Boys, Run-DMC and Public Enemy.
This year, N.W.A. will be inducted alongside Cheap Trick, Chicago, Steve Miller, and Deep Purple.
The official induction ceremony will be held on April 8 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
