FBI Ran Child Pornography Website in 2015 :::: #LifeStyle

FBI
Woah! In some shocking news, USA Today reveals that the FBI operated one of the Internet's largest child pornography website for two weeks last year.
But... it's not what it seems.
The agency took control of the website Playpan last year and left it online for two weeks (from Feb. 20 to March 4, 2015) in an attempt to catch users who would've otherwise remained anonymous.

The report said the FBI infected the sites with software to identify hundreds of users.
At the time, the site had more than 215,000 registered users and included links to more than 23,000 sexually explicit images and videos of children. Some of the images were described in court filings involved children barely old enough for kindergarten.
Since the sting operation, the FBI was able to identify 1,300 true computer addresses of the 100,000 people, and have charged 137 individuals with a crime.
