Rockets point guard Ty Lawson has pleaded guilty to DUI charges, stemming from his drunk driving arrest in Denver.
Lawson was charged with a DUI, speeding and other offenses in January, but pleaded guilty Thursday to driving while ability impaired and a lane violation... and faces up to 180 days in jail when he is sentenced Jan. 14.
The DUI was just one of two this year. He was also arrested for a DUI in Los Angelesin July.
Following the most recent arrest, Lawson entered a 30-day residential treatment program at Cliffside Malibu,. The same month, the Nuggets traded Lawson to the Rockets.
