Designed more for marketing purposes than any real-life purpose, "The Switch," as it's called, is powered by a Particle Core, an Arduino-compatible development kit that features on-board WiFi. Also built in is a battery, LEDs and an IR transmitter that mimics the IR signal found on Netflix-compatible TVs.
