“Welcome To Death Row” Movie Being Shopped :::: #Entertainment

Death Row RecordsWelcome To Death Row is a documentary that released in 2001, and offered a look into the rise and fall of the iconic gangster rap label. Now, the film is being shopped as a movie, reports The Hollywood Reporter.
In wake of the success of the N.W.A. biopic, Straight Outta Compton, APA is shopping the film, which would likely feature many of the same figures.
While Compton chronicles the rise and fall of the gangster rap group, spanning from late 1980s to 1996, the Death Row movie would following the years after N.W.A formed, during an era when artists such as Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg and Tupac helped Death Row Records become one of the most successful independent labels ever... helmed by the infamous Suge Knight.
THR notes that music rights are not currently attached to the Death Row film, which could complicate a studio deal.
Stay tuned...
