Join us as we celebrate the colorful mangos of Jamaica! From the rare ‘Julie’ to the rich, sweet and spicy ‘Blackie’, we will have all of your favorite mango varieties all in one fun-filled, action-packed and delicious weekend. No other tropical fruit has the ability to bring together a community like the mango. Join us for two full days of mango festivities, all highlighting the king of tropical fruit. Our selection of mangos has been collected throughout the tropics and grown here in South Florida, following in the footsteps of David Fairchild. The festival features a variety of mango trees for sale, a fruit market, cooking demonstrations, lectures about growing mangos, educational activities, artisan vendors, delicious food and the world’s largest mango auction!

Saturday only, from 9:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m. in the Garden House, enjoy tasty mango dishes as Miami’s top restaurants, caterers and businesses alike sample their best mango dishes and products. Mango bites will include: green mango salad from Bangkok Cuisine, mango pies from Kenny’s Great Pies, mini mango cream puffs from Joanna’s Marketplace, raw mango blossom honey from Keez Beez, mango mousse from Temple, and California quinoa salad from Whole Foods Market Coral Gables.

Family Yoga with Rina Yoga

Sunday only at 11:00 a.m. at the bottom of the Bailey Palm Glade, enjoy a complimentary family yoga class from Rina Yoga that is fit for all levels that will strengthen and stretch the body and mind for overall well-being and relaxation under a nature’s own ambiance.

Mango Auction

Sunday only, starting at 2:00 p.m. in the Garden House, enjoy the excitement of the world’s only mango auction while bidding on your favorite mangos.  Join Dr. Richard J. Campbell and auctioneers for a journey through the exciting world of mangos.  What will be the best mango variety available at this year’s auction?  Stop in to find out and experience this truly unique auction.

Mango Tasting and Flavor Evaluations

All weekend in Corbin Classroom A, for $1.00, enter the Fairchild Mango Tasting room.  Fairchild selects the finest quality mangos, ripened to perfection and freshly cut for your tasting, cut fresh each day, all available for tasting.  Help us decide which mango will reign supreme this year.  While supplies last.

Mango Art Exhibit and Book Signing

MangoKids

All weekend at Cycad Vista, join us for face painting, crafts, mango poetry and much more! Mangoes come in all shapes and sizes and so do seeds!  Through hands-on activities, learn about the great diversity of seeds ranging, from the tiniest orchid seeds to the gigantic coco de mer. Join us for seed dissection at 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. and discover the incredible secrets they hold.

All weekend at Cycad Circle, shop our great selection of Curator’s Choice Mango Trees while supplies last.  Experts will be on hand to help with your selection.

Mango Medics

All weekend at Cycad Circle, mango medics and experts are on hand to answer any questions you may have about your mango trees. Is your tree not fruiting? Have a question about an ailing tree? Stop by the Mango Medics and let our medics come to the rescue!
