It looks like veteran swingman Richard Jefferson will be joining LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavs.
According to ESPN, sources said the 35-year-old changed his mind in recent days, after committing to re-sign with the Dallas Mavericks earlier in the month.
He is now finializing a one-year veteran minimum deal with the Cavaliers instead.
Jefferson's move follows DeAndre Jordan's decision to renege on an agreed deal with Dallas. However, unlike DJ, Jefferson told Cuban he had a change of heart.
"He called and talked to me," Cuban told ESPN. "RJ said he had an opportunity with an Eastern Conference team. He said he would honor what he [originally agreed to with the Mavs] but thought the other was a better fit. I told him I was OK with it and understood."
