During the biggest event in the world of high-intensity training, Nike athletes have been banned from wearing the Metcon 1. So, this "Varsity Red" colorway pays homage to the brand's first outlawed shoe, the Air Jordan 1.
Built for high intensity workouts, the shoe features minimal materials stability when lifting, cutting and jumping; Flywire cables that wrap the arch and provide lockdown for lightweight stability; tough, abrasion-resistant mesh upper for a breathable feel; and flex grooves let you move more naturally.
It sports colorway similar to the banned Jordan 1, featuring a predominantly black upper, with accenting red on the heel, toe and Nike branding.
The Nike Metcon 1 "Varsity Red" drops July 16 at Nike retailers for $130 USD.
