Nike introduces the latest colorway of Kevin Durant's latest signature sneaker, the KD8.
Dubbed "Hunt's Hill Sunrise," the story pays homage to Durant's drive as a kid. He was told he was too skinny to become a professional basketball player, so he spent countless early morning hours sprinting up Hunt's Hill, working with his coach Taras "Stink" Brown to build the mental strength and physical stamina.
Inspired by the the corner of L Street and Balsamtree Drive near Durant's childhood rec center and grandmother's house, the she sports an Infrared Flyweave upper, alongside a Volt-colored Dynamic Flywire, full-length articulated Zoom Air cushioning and black accents throughout. The marbled outside finishes the look.
The Nike KD8 "Hunt's Hill Sunrise" drops August 1 at Nike.com and select retailers.
