Jordan Brand “First To Fly” Event In Las Vegas (Recap)

Jordan Brand took over the Brooklyn Bowl in Las Vegas over the weekend for a series of events, dubbed "First To Fly," all in support of the upcoming release of Blake Griffin's Jordan Super.Fly 4.
The space was decked out to celebrate the shoe's upcoming release. Across from the bowling alley stood Marvin The Martian's spaceship, which had crashed into the wall. On it was a special note addressed by Griffin.
Inside, a retail location was set up, where visitors were among the first to purchase the "Marvin The Martin" colorway of the Super.Fly 4, create customized Jordan x Marvin The Martian T-shirts, and cop other apparel inspired by the theme.
Elsewhere, Jordan created an amazing installation referred to as the "Kaboom Room", where ballers tested their dunking skills, complete with special video effects as the backdrop.
On the third floor, guests could even get a fresh cut by the in-house barber, play NBA Live 16, get a massage, and ... of course, bowl.

During the weekend of events, Victor Oladipo of the Orlando Magic was on-hand, as the guest of honor, and stayed to judge a dunk contest; the second night, LaMarcus Aldridge, Jimmy Butler and Kawhi Leonard made appearances, where they held a Q&A with the public and talked about the new shoe, their Jordan collections, their favorite dunks, and more, while also judging yet another dunk contest.
The Jordan Super.Fly 4 "Marvin The Martian" drops worldwide on August 5 at Jordan retailers for $150 USD.
