MGM Blocking Las Vegas Hotels From Showing Mayweather-Pacquiao Fight :::: #Boxing

Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao
If you're gonna be in Las Vegas for the Mayweather-Pacquiao fight, you won't be able to watch it unless you're staying at an MGM property. If you're gonna be in Las Vegas for the Mayweather-Pacquiao fight, you won't be able to watch it unless you're staying at an MGM property.
MGM shotcallers have decided to block all competitors from showing what is being touted as the "fight of the century."
MGM reportedly has an exclusivity deal, which blocks rival hotels on the Vegas Strip from showing the fight -- and that includes in-room, in bars, in the casino... so basically, anywhere.
Being that they will be hosting the fight at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, they want to completely control where it plays in the local market.

A rep for a major rival hotel confirmed the news to TMZ, saying: "We aren't able to air the fight, that's true. And our guests won't be able to have it in-room either. It's a contract the MGM has. Unfortunately, it blacks out non-MGM properties."
MGM does have 14 Vegas properties, so hopefully, anyone traveling to the city can find a room. Good luck.
