The Battier Take Charge Foundation’s annual “South Beach Battioke,” held at the Fillmore Theatre in Miami Beach on March 3rd, 8 p.m. is selling out quickly with only two weeks away from the star-studded event. Fans can also enter to win free tickets by submitting their favorite karaoke video on #BattiokeMe. Shane will pick his favorite karaoke performance and will deliver two free tickets to the lucky winner.
Admission price includes delicious delectables from some of South Florida’s top restaurants including Bocce Bar, Estiatorio Milos by Costas Spiliadis, Haven, MC Kitchen, Misha’s Cupcakes, Pincho Factory, PM Fish & Steak House, Papa John’s Pizza, Siena Tavern, STK Miami Beach, Sugarcane Raw Bar Grill, Sweet Cravings, Tamarina Restaurant, The Cypress Room, The Embassy of Well Being and Debauchery, The Local Craft Food & Drink, The Oceanaire Seafood Room, and Truluck’s. The evening also includes open bar and what everyone waits for every year, to see celebrities and their favorite Miami Heat players as they sing karaoke to raise money for college scholarships to underprivileged high school students.

Notable past karaoke participants include Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh, Pat Riley, James Jones, Norris Cole, Udonis Haslem, Greg Oden, Jimmy Buffet, Gabrielle Union and Ken Jeong. Last year’s event was attended by more than 600 guests and raised more than $300,000 dollars. This year’s event aims to shatter that record, yet again, with funds raised through ticket sales, auction items and sponsorships.
