Marlins Park will host the 2017 MLB All-Star Game.
Its crazy because Miami was awarded the 2000 All Star game but due to the 1997 offloading of the Marlins roster after the World Series win, the big wigs at MLB snatched back the privilege as punishment.
So July 2017 will be an interesting time for Marlins Park, receiving a major sporting event within 5 years or so of its grand opening.
Now, all we need is for the NBA to give us an All-Star game and Miami will be set.
