His Halftime Show reportedly attracted the largest audience in Super Bowl history with 115.3 million viewers tuning in, according to Billboard.
That viewership number exceeds the prior record of 114.0 million set by Madonna in 2012, when she performed with Nicki Minaj and M.I.A., as well as the the 110.8 million Beyonce garnered in New Orleans last year.

Super Bowl XLVIII broke records as well, becoming the most-watched event in U.S. television history with an average of 111.5 million viewers.

In addition to viewership, Mars became the youngest artist ever as the sole Super Bowl Halftime headliner at 28 years old.
