Iron Man 3 to be filmed in Miami ::: In the Movies

Well, after last year’s Rock Of Ages filming craze that rocked Miami, we now have another big blockbuster that will at least be partially filmed here.
Iron Man 3 started production in North Carolina a week or so ago, and the production schedule and plot has the cast and crew coming to Miami to film scenes for the upcoming third adaptation of the Robert Downey Jr. led trilogy. Gwyneth Paltrow will also star as Pepper Potts, Don Cheadle as Rhodey Rhodes, and Jon Favreau as Happy Hogan.
And as further confirmation, a spy on set mentioned to have seen some City Of Miami trucks and police cars in the North Carolina locations, giving more evidence that Miami will most likely play a principal role in the plot of the storyline. Here’s the quote:

“Additionally, other insiders said that some of the upcoming film’s story will take place in Miami, Florida. A source claimed to have spotted “emergency vehicles – police, ambulance and fire-rescue vehicles – emblazoned with logos for the city of Miami and Miami PD being unloaded from production trucks near the closed part of the set last night while crews prepared to begin shooting Iron Man 3 at the Cape Fear Club later today.” – Aceshowbiz

Aside from North Carolina and Miami, the production will also head over to China for filming as well. The movie is set for a May 3, 2013 release.
