Adidas Basketball's adiZero Crazy Light 2 has been out since May 24th, hitting the scene via a campaign touting it as the "lightest basketball shoe on the market." They aren't lying either. If you've gotten a chance to check them out in person, you immediately feel it.
These sneakers are incredibly light upon holding them in hand, weighing in at a mere 9.5 ounces, 10% lighter than the first general Crazy Light sneaker. They are sleeker, in design, than the previous generation, which helped shed off some of the weight.
Adidas sent over this pair of Crazy Light 2's in the "Light Scarlet/Black" colorway recently. It comes in a special edition box that includes a limited "Lighter Than Yours" tee, and extra "fire red" insoles. We've already had a chance to try them out on the court, and loved them. If you're playing ball, these are the sneakers you want. Why drag yourself down with a heavier shoe when you have these on deck?
The adiZero Crazy Light 2 is out now. It retails for $140, and is available five colorways: Electric/Black, Black/Light Scarlet, Black/Hyper Green, Light Scarlet/Black, and Dark Onix/Tech Grey/White.
