Verizon officially unveiled the upcoming HTC Droid Incredible 4G LTE, an update to their popular Droid Incredible smartphone, during New Orleans' annual CTIA Wireless conference on Monday (May 7).
The upcoming version adds support for Version Wireless' 4G LTE network, along with Beats Audio support (boasting enhanced bass, elevated midrange, and crisp highs) and advanced camera capabilities. Other features include a 4-inch super LCD qHD display, an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera with autofocus (f/2.2 and 28 mm lens) and 1.2 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor.
It will run the latest version of Android, 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich), along with HTC's Sense UI 4.0.
Although specs about the internal storage capacity was unknown at press time, the Droid Incredible will feature a microSD card slot with support for cards up to 32GB. There's also a 1700mAh removable battery and NFC support.
Details such as a release date and/or a retail price had not been confirmed as of press time, but insiders expect the smartphone to retail for $299.
