RICK ROSS PARTNERS WITH STATE ASSEMBLYMAN.

Team Hope founder and NJ State Assemblyman Benjie Wimberly has joined with Lenny "The Barber" Hansen, Carefree Nation and MMG Boss Rick Ross to produce a concert taking place on May 11, at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, N.J. This monumental event will also serve as a campaign rally designed to bring more political and educational awareness into the hip hop community.

With 2012 being an election year and so many crucial issues affecting the hip hop community, Rick Ross and Assemblyman Wimberley are encouraging fans to pursue higher education and become active in the upcoming elections. Campaign communications specialist Mongo Slade of Viral Sparkz Agency says, "Our objective is to inject a sense of HOPE into the hip hop community that will empower young fans with the desire to be more productive."

"It's an honor to give back to the community and motivate our youth. Young people need to know that without hard work there can be no real success. I have worked hard and made certain sacrifices that have allowed me to be successful and scholastic intelligence has played a major part," says Rick Ross.

This groundbreaking event will feature performances by Rick Ross, Meek Mill, French Montana, Travis Porter, Future and Miss "Ghetto Elevator" Rae. In addition to giving away free concert tickets to students and aspiring entrepreneurs that are striving to the do the right thing, a portion of proceeds from the MMG Invasion Tour will be donated to Team Hope. Team Hope has helped hundreds of struggling families in the Paterson, N.J. area alone.
