MTV reality TV star DJ Pauly D is expanding his business portfolio. Following a record deal with 50 Cent's G-Note Records and his new reality TV show, he's recently landed a deal for his own line of liquor.
Pauly (real name: Paul DelVecchio) is close to announcing a deal for the release a ready-to-drink cocktail called REMIX, a series of vodka-based drinks in various flavors.
The drink targets the "pre-game" market -- basically a cocktail you drink before you go out for an evening of partying. The report says the deal could make him very rich.
Pauly D's business partner is Skinnygirl Cocktails co-founder David Kanbar.
His signature drink was brought to the Wine & Spirits Wholesalers of America convention in Las Vegas early last month and buyers loved it. Sources said it sold more cases during the convention than Skinnygirl sold in 18 months.
Skinnygirl is said to have sold for a rumored $120 million.
