Everyone knows Lil Wayne is a Green Bay Packers fan and after they were knocked out of the post-season, Weezy's mentor/boss Birdman has chosen another team to put his money on .... and we're talking a lot of it.
As he has with big games in the past, the Cash Money Records co-founder is putting up a lot of cash for Super Bowl XLVI ... and he's betting on AFC champs, the New England Patriots.
In a tweet on Monday (January 23), Birdman revealed that he's betting $5 million on the upcoming Super Bowl game, rooting for the Patriots to beat the New York Giants.
He even said that Pats running back BenJarvus Green-Ellis is his nephew, so he's gotta bet on family.
"I like New ENGLaNd.my nephew play RB# 42.I'm Bet 5million 2 any niggaaa.like tha Giants YMCMB.BabyMoney anybody kan Getit," Birdman wrote (@Birdman5Star).
Green-Eliis ran for 68 yards and scored a touchdown in the Patriots win over the Baltimore Ravens during Sunday's (January 22) AFC Championship game.
Birdman previously bet $1 million on Green Bay last year, doubling his money when the Packers took the win over the Pittsburgh Steelers. Now, he's hopes to do the same this year.
Super Bowl XLVI goes down on February 5 in Indianapolis.
