AMEX Sues Nelly Over Unpaid Credit Card Debt

Nelly got some nice Christmas news, that he's facing a new lawsuit from American Express. The credit card company filed a lawsuit against the 37-year-old hip-hop star back in October, claiming that he's delinquent just over $20,000 in debt he's rang up on his card. AMEX says they've served Nelly with notices, but he's yet to respond. The company wants him to pay back $20,403 and some change, as well as an $3,000 in lawyer's fees.
