On the same day that her husband T.I. turned himself in to begin his 11-month stint in prison, Tameka "Tiny" Cottle was pleading not guilty to drug charges, stemming from an arrest in September in Los Angeles.
According to reports, 35-year-old Tiny is facing a misdemeanor drug possession, and her attorney appeared in a Beverly Hills courtroom last Friday (October 29) to enter her plea.
She and her rapper husband were busted on Hollywood's famed Sunset Strip last month and caught with prescription codeine cough syrup, weed and ecstasy.
Tiny was charged with possession of the ecstasy. If convicted, she could face up to a year in prison.
A pretrial hearing is scheduled for January 6, 2011.
Since the arrest, T.I. dodged the Los Angeles charges, but was found in violation of his probation from his previous felony weapons arrest. He began an 11-month prison sentence on Monday (November 1).
