Christina Milian, The-Dream Agree On Divorce Settlement

In the summer, news surfaced of a separation between Christina Milian and The-Dream, following by reports of a a divorce. Now, earlier this month, the couple reportedly reached an undisclosed divorce settlement.
At the time, details were unknown, but word is the amount was around $4 million.
The Chicago Sun-Times reports that Milian will receive the lump sum, plus $5,000 a month in child support. The couple welcomed their first child together in March, a daughter named Violet.
"Ms. Milian strongly believes that peaceful resolution is better for their child and that she is very pleased with the settlement and that it was accomplished out of court," Milian's lawyer, Randy Kessler, told the paper.
Things looked like it could have easily got ugly after photos of Dream in Hawaii with his assistant, Melissa Santiago, surfaced on the 'net. Dream later addressed the break-up in an open letter on his website, in which he accepted responsibility for the couple's split.
Since the split, Milian has moved on. She is currently working on a new album and is focused on taking care of her daughter.
"I've been regrouping with my life and everything that was going on," Milian said. "I feel very confident, very sexy, alive. I feel responsible for a lot of things. I'm very thankful for being able to see the light and move forward in my life. Sometimes big things have to happen in your life to push forward and I've had a lot of big things."
